How many automatic driving lessons will I need?
While the DVSA average for all learners is 45 hours, automatic learners very often require significantly fewer hours because there is no clutch control or gear shifting to master. You will likely progress much faster!
Can I drive a manual car if I pass in an automatic?
No. If you pass your practical test in an automatic vehicle, your UK driving licence will only legally cover you to drive automatics (including all modern electric vehicles). If you wish to drive a manual car in the future, you would need to re-take a practical test in a manual car.
Are automatic lessons more expensive?
